Salter Racing Engines was officially started in 2000 in a small 10 x 20 ft. garage. Since then our engines have driven to over 80 victories.
After years of hard work and a dedication to putting the customer first, we now have now upgraded to a 75 x 75 ft. building.
Brian Salter, owner of Salter Racing Engines, has over 20 years experience in the automotive and racing industry. He completed 2 Associates degrees, one in Automotive Systems Technology, and the other in Machining /Electronics. He also holds an electrical engineering diploma from the Army, a machinist diploma from Guilford Technical Community College, and a master automotive servicing diploma from NRI. He completed a 3500 hour apprenticeship from the North Carolina Department of Labor. He is a certified journeymen in tool and die making and is a master ASE certified engine machinist.
